The heart of Suikerbos stems from a deep fascination with the small intricacies in nature. Symmetries, spirals, waves, cracks and stripes are explored through hand drawn sketches. Suikerbos designs come from a love of creating and a deep fascination of South African botany. We are heavily influenced by our surroundings, and having travelled with suikerbos quite a bit, there are many landscape stories captured in our ranges, from the flat lands of the free state, to the rumble tumble of of Jo’burg and finally our new sea home here in Simons Town.
